Hello Grade Fives!
Well, we have worked with Fantasy Math for two weeks now and I would like to know how you feel about it. Please tell me about what you liked, what you did not like, what you learned, or what you found difficult or exciting. Tell me anything that will help me to plan a math activity similar to this in the future. I need to know what worked and what did not work for you.

I feel that Fantasy Hockey math helped me to learn fraction, and how they work. But Fantasy Hockey also takes a long time, with finding the scores, doing the fractions and entering on the wiki, it takes some time, but it still is helpful and has a great amount of learning and fun! Like being able to go on NHL.com and entering stats on the wiki, I think that is fun to do! There are good things about fantasy hockey and bad things, bu tover all I think it is a great way to learn fractions.

I found this activity a fun and interactive activity and I would do it again if I had the chance I won't do it this season because it's almost over I learnd a lot cause my family dosen't like hockey so I went to my grandma's and grandpa's house there favorite team is the Maple leaves mine is the Penguins my favorite players are Malkin and Crosby well I hads a lot of fun with this project

I think that fantasy hockey was fun because you had to get the imformation instead of it given to you and you just have to do the work so i thought that it helped me cause it took longer and it actullly was funner than the work given to you. I also think that it didn't build my math skills at all because it was really hard and really confussing to figure out the fractions.
Bonjour,Mrs.French.I loved this activity, simply because I love hockey!!!!!!I liked everything except the team, we could have made few trades, like with Ales Hemsky and Sami Salo.But over all i loved it!!!!

I found fantasy hockey fun.It helped me understand multiplying fractions better.One thing I did not like is that it was very confusing getting the information for the answers and coming up with the right answer. But even though fantasy hockey was a bit confusing I still enjoyed it.

HI Mrs.French I liked doing fantasy hockey because you got to learn math and learn about hockey at the same time. I did not like the part were you get the stats because it was hard to find out were to go at beging but near the end of the week it was relly easy to find were to go.

One thing that i did not like is the score sheet for after we got all of are stats and at mathy period we would fill it out as a class. I did not like it because at that period it got really hecktick with everyone trying to explane what they got on their sheet when theirs was not right. One thing that i did like is that it really helped me with my fractions and adding them. I think that it was a good lerning experiance for me. One think that i would like to do different next time is to do the stuff on the score sheet at are computer time then when we do it as a class we can just enter the information on the wiki, and to me that will be not as hecktick!!!!!!

I am lerning all know stuff with Mrs.Arnld. IT is pritty cool that i am lerning mony and angles it is pritty cool. I am having fun with Mrs. Arnld but I am still hane some trubles with math. I am not under satanding some of the thing`s you do with me it is hard jto do some thing`s but I am lrening slowly I have fun doing it. I can do some of the thing`s you do but not all the thing`s you do but I am lerning and i am working hard on all the stuff you teech me but it is still hard to do

I love the fantasy Hockey math. One reason is that i like hockey and i like math. i loved the work with fractions. It was fun ,and it is cool that we are winning!

I feel that the fantasy hockey math helped me on nhl .com cause hockey cool like sidney crosby and evergini malikin and markus naslund and the wiki helped me learn how to add fractions from your worst night mare and most arch enemy kayden hahahahah

Fantasy hockey math helps me alot it helps me witrh fractions,adding fractions, etc. At one part i didnt like it because it was hard but now its easy and i can add fractions better

I found Fantasy math helpful it tot me more about multiplying fractions and I feel confident in doing them.Howevere I feel I need more practice at it.I don't think it was the best way for me to learn multiplying fractions.I like worksheets more than class activaties so I think we shuold do more worksheets on multipling fractions. I did find it very helpful and I think I'll be better at the post test than the pre test

I like Fantasy Hockey be cause you get to do fractions and it involves hockey
I think that fanatasy hockey math helped me multiply fractions better. That is all that I think it really helped me with! :)
